Hamid ur Rehman is a passionate media man, working as a broadcast journalist in Pakistan. He started his career as a reporter in a leading newspaper covering health and education. His footprints can be found in leading newspapers of the country including “Daily Jasarat”, “Daily Ummat” & “Daily Nai Baat.” After establishing himself as one of the best among his contemporaries, he switched to the broadcast joining “NEO TV”, also worked in “Dunya News” and now is associated with “Samaa News” where he’s covering health and education. He also worked for ” Samaa Digital”.

With 10 years of professional experience, Hamid ur Rehman is also a member of at Karachi Press Club’s governing body. He is also a member of the Arts Council of Pakistan and was elected as the Secretary of the Karachi Union of Journalists in 2015. Holding the position of Secretary of Karachi Press Club’s Health Environment and Fitness Committee for four years, Hamid ur Rehman is now working as “Secretay” for the “Education Committee” of Karachi Press Club. He has a master’s degree in International Relations and certification in “Health Reporting” from Dow Medical Institute, he also holds a certificate in “Media Production” from “Pak Turk Institute”.Hamid ur Rehman has attended many national and international workshops related to his work.
